WEEK 7

We held the presentation on this week and I get stress about it because there are to many thing that I must finish it to present it on the next day and I also not get enough sleep on this week to finish develops my idea such as the character that I will use in the game and also the module 3D character. other than that I also need to create a logo for the principle of marketing because from the logo people  can remember our product.

Beside that I also need to think on how will my webpage will look like and what I want to put inside it and how to arrange it. For the color I need to do the proposal on lighting. I need to make an analysis on the text that given and make a proposal on it using the picture that I get from Mantin.

WEEK 6

In this week I made a short list about what I should cover and what the information that I should get to complete my research about Mantin. I have decide to make a game about the way to Mantin town. I get this idea when I go to Mantin several time to make a research and In the way to Mantin town I made an observation on Mantin and I get that Mantin we can find a different food in a different area such as from the collage to first traffic light in Mantin I notice that there is a lot of fruit stall. after the traffic light we can see there is wet market on there and same to other part in Mantin.

Therefor I want to make the audience to know which area that they can go to find the thing that they want. In the same time I also promote my project in module principle of marketing. It is a group work to promote Mantin, we will make an exhibition to promote Mantin but at first we need to create a logo and also divide the work to make it more easy to handle.

To make it more, I promote the food in Mantin using the web in the module interactive web design. In the web I will show the audience on where they can find the food that they need. other than that I also provide some information about some of the restaurant in Mantin such as what other food that they serve and what the ingredient in the food.

To make a game I need to create my character and also the other character that will I put in the game so I design make a research about the character in the module 3D character and environment. I need to make it in 3D for this module and there is many thing I need to cover to make sure that I will finish all the project by the end of the  semester.

WEEK 5

I have the idea on promoting mantin, I will promote the food system in Mantin because I saw there is many restaurant in Mantin and I saw that all the restaurant sell or serve almost the same thing to the customer therefor I need to make a research about the food in Mantin. I have google about the food in Mantin but they only show the famous food in Mantin. Therefor I need to go to Mantin again to get more information about the food in Mantin.

I go with other peer to Mantin to collect some information about the system in Mantin and other than that we also get some picture that  is more detail about the system that we want to focus on. For me I need to take more picture about the food but I dont know  why I just get a few image of food and the other is the image of the restaurant in mantin.

Other than taking the picture I also make some interview from the owner of food stall in Mantin. At first the owner feel shy to be interview but some of the customer at the food stall volunteer them self to be interview by me. I get more information from the interview such as which restaurant sell the best food and they also give some information about the history of Mantin and it is very helpful information for me.

WEEK 4

In this week all the module have a work to finish and I need to divide my time to make sure all are go with the plan. I need to create a gantt chart and I have made it but Im not fill it with my plan I just imagine it and make my own plan without do it on gantt chart that I  have made.

I also need to make a gantt chart in module 3D character and we do it together with the lecture and the student. It quite easy because all the thing are same but the different is the time. In the same time I need to finish my infographic.

In the other module like the web design I need to pass up the report about the analyst of 5 web site that I have choose and I have not start anything yet. I need to work fast.

For the subject principle of marketing I need to find and identify the topic that I want to make to promote mantin.

In this week also we make a trip to mantin to find and get the idea about what I should do for the project promoting mantin in this semester. I take a lot  of picture in Mantin and I also draw a map in mantin. The map is to make the mapping of mantin. to make we know more about the mantin.

WEEK 3

In this week I have to catch up many thing such as the module web design I need to come out with the analysis of 5 web side and I also need to understanding the principle of multimedia design. At the same time in the module 3D character and environment I also need to design a infographic about the story that I have choose.

For me the infographic I can make it in one day to finish it therefor I just focus on make the analysis about the 5 website because I need to understand how to analyse it base on the principle that the lecture have brief to us in the second week.

I not start with the module color because I also dont know what to do in that subject. I think in the third week and I still dont know what to do it show that my progress is quite slow and I dont know what to do with that.

In the second week I need to start with find and make the analysis about 5 games and I have made it. On the other module such as the 3D character and environment for animation I need to find a movie that is 3D movie and analyse the movie about the story, background and also the character in the movie. For me it quite easy because I just analyse it and make summary of the story.

For the other module I not start anything yet at this week because I dont know what to do, maybe because I start the class late and I need to catch up all the thing that I have leg.

In the first week we are brief with the all module for this semester. For me it a little bit heavy because all the module is a difficult module such as 3D character and environment for animation, Interactive design for web technology, color and design in 2D and 3D dimension, interactive deign for game and web application, and principle of marketing. For me the 3D character and environment for animation is ok because I have take the subject 3D modelling in the previous semester so I just need to develop my skill on the Maya software but in other module it quite difficult because I dont know what it is about.

In this semester I will make one big project on promoting Mantin system, I need to understand and know about the system in Mantin and make a research about it.

For this weak I just focus on drawing the image of food that I want to put in my blog. At first I want to draw at the paper but I think it to normal and I want to make it look different. Since my concept for my webpage is elegant therefor I use the plate as my place to draw the food that I have choose. 

I have difficulties in drawing the image because I want to make it look like real especially when I want to draw the roti canai. To get the actual color and also the actual texture for the roti canai is not a easy thing I need to analyse it more before I start draw but I still cannot get the real image of the roti canai

My concept for the the web site template is elegant, I choose this concept because when we talk about food people willing to spent more money on the food. Other than that food will have the different look and taste that make it valuable and its make it more elegant. 

In my web page there will be a image of the famous food in Mantin and also the information about the food and the place that sell the food. From many food in Mantin I choose Nasi Lemak, Kuih pau, nasi ayam, and roti canai. Each of the food represent the race in Mantin such as Nasi Lemak it is from Malays community but now days everyone will eat and find the best Nasi Lemak. Other than that for roti canai it from india community and kuih pau from chines community. 

Beside that I also need to make a list about the other food that sell an the restaurant or food stall that I have choose because I need to put the name and also the image of the restaurant or the food stall in my web page.   

In my web page there will have a home button, menu, place and also the gallery. at the bottom I will put the link to make people know how to contact us and I also put the map so people or audience will know where we at because Mantin is not a popular place and not everyone know about this place. 

Now I need to edit some picture that I will use in my website.

We are require to make a research about the template to make a website. I need to find the suitable website template to make my website template. My website template is about the food therefor I need to find the suitable web page that will show the menu, place and also the information about the food. 

In my web page there will be more image about the food that I take from Mantin. Other than that I also put the image of the building and the view at the Mantin town. I have take some image about the food at the Mantin town but some of the image do not have a nice view therefor I decide to draw it.

PRINCIPLE OF MARKETING

FOODIE ( LOGO COLOR ) 

This is my final logo about the topic that I want to promote about the mantin. The colour that I choose for my logo is dark red and red. The reason I choose the red colour because from the phycology colour red makes people want to eat more and it suitable colour for food.  

  

This is the experiment color of my logo. At first I choose this color because this is also one of the color that is refer to the food but I notice that this color not suitable because it cannot be see from far because the color.

LIFIAN EXHIBITION ( LOGO )

Logo was a very important part in make the audience know and remember our product. Logo is a design symbolizing ones organization. It is a design that is used by an organization for its letterhead, advertising material, and signs as an emblem by which the organization can easily be recognize, also called logotype. Logotype is a graphic representation or symbol of a company name, trademark, abbreviation, etc., often uniquely designed for ready recognition. 

This is our group logo: 

The logo is based on Mantin view but we make it black and white it will make the feel of negative and positive in Mantin. We make the words Lifian half with white colour and the other half with black colour because at the top of the words we represent it as the building that we can see in Mantin town and the bottom is we want to represent it as the root that is very strong. We make the white more because we want to show that Mantin has a strong base and it also show that Mantin the old of Mantin.

PROJECT OVERVIEW 

I have decided to make the game station as my product to promote mantin. therefor I need to design a layout as the project overview for the my game station. At first I want to make  it near to the HEA counter at the lobby but after that I change my mind  because the place is not suitable. Thefirst place that I choose has good source of light that is I think it suitable for my product that I want to show but the place is hidden and not suitable to put the game station at there. This is the first place that I choose. 

After that I get another place that I think is suitable with my game station. The place have air conditioner and also the light that can be adjust follow what we want. Other than that the place also not to dark and not to bright so the audience can focus on the game. this is my project overview:

TARGET AUDIENCE

A target audience is the intended audience or readership of a publication, advertisement, or other message. In marketing and advertising, it is a specific group of people within the target market at which a product or the marketing message of a product is aimed. For example, if the company sell a new perfume for men, the communication maybe aim at those men but also perhaps at their spouse. A target audience can be formed of people of a certain age group, gender, marital status, etc., e.g. teenagers, females, single people, etc. A combination of factors, e.g. men aged 20–30 is a common target audience. Other groups, although not the main focus, may also be interested. Discovering the appropriate target market(s)and determining the target audience is one of the most important activities in marketing management.

My target audience is the international people that are include the staff and also the student from Legenda education group from the range of age 25 – 35. I choose this target audience because I want the international people try and spend time on eating food in Mantin and discovering the new taste that is difference from their food. Beside that I choose the range of age 25 – 35 because this group of people may have their own transport to go Mantin and try the food in Mantin. Other than that they also have their income to try the new thing in Mantin.

What is survey question? There are a lot of ways to conduct research and collect information, but one way that make it really easy is by doing a survey. A survey is define as a brief interview or discussion with individuals about a specific topic. The term survey is unfortunately a little vague, so we need to define it better. The term survey is often used to mean 'collect information'.

There is 3 type of survey questionnaire, interview and survey. question survey is a series of written questions a participant answers. This method gather responses to question that are easy or agree/neutral/disagree style. For the interview is questions posed to an individual to obtain information about him or her. This type of survey is like a job interview, with one person asking another a load of questions. Lastly is survey, it is a brief interview  and discussion with individuals about a specific topic.

LIFIAN EXHIBITION

For the Lifian exhibition I'm in charge at public relation (PR). My duty was to handle the Instagram account and also the Facebook event pages. I need to keep update the lattes progress of our exhibition. Therefore I need to work with the photography team to get the nice photo of our progress and the process of making the exhibition.

What is Public Relations ? Public Relation is an interesting, ever-changing field. There are several relationships at play, and opportunities seem endless. But, there are few tips to keep in mind if you are keen on getting ahead in the land of PR and media communication.

1. KNOW YOUR CLIENT AND BUSINESS
I need to know what kind of audience that I want to approach and what the major cost that they take in this collage.

2. KNOW YOUR MEDIA CONTACT AND NEEDS
Since I work on Instagram and Facebook therefor I need to identify my friends and follower about what they interested about and what their field. From here I can identify my target audience.  .

3.KNOW YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE AND THEIR INTERESTED.
After know my target audience now I just need to identify what their interested to attract them by follow our progress about what we work on.

4. KNOW YOUR PURPOSE AND DESIRE RESULT
Know what the audience want and try to relate it with the project that we work on. It will make the audience notice our exhibition and want to know more about it.

5. KNOW YOUR PITCH AND RESPECT IF IT WON'T WORK.
In Instagram and also the Facebook event page each of the photo that I want to upload I need to give the text or words that will make the audience attention. The words need to be short but make people want to know about it.
